Linda Sutton-Nutsch is an Accountant and Consultant with LRS Consulting, Inc.
Linda brings together a team with an extensive list of experience and talent to LRS. Linda grew up in an entrepreneur family where her parents ran a family farm, aerial spraying business, and used car dealership in the same town where she currently lives, Chester, Nebraska.
She earned a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Computer Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska. Shortly after, she obtained her Private Pilot License and completed her MBA at the University of Denver in Colorado. She worked as a Financial Analyst and Programmer for Johns Manville Company in Denver. She continued her career as an International Financial Analyst for Riverwood International (sister company of Johns Manville) and led the successful acquisition of 33 entities in Europe and Asia/Pacific traveling extensively abroad to oversee operations.
After her career as an analyst, she served as the Controller for a television station operating in Texas and Oklahoma. She started her own consulting firm, LRS Consulting, to provide consulting and tax preparation to small businesses while serving as a controller for small businesses in the area. After being approached to teach night classes for the International Business College in Texas, Linda received her teaching certification.
Most recently, for 12 years Linda worked with small businesses in north central Kansas as a consultant with the Kansas Small Business Development Center (Kansas SBDC) at Wichita State University. The SBDC provides quality, confidential, management counseling at no cost as well as affordable training seminars to both start-up and existing small businesses. While at the KSBDC, Linda earned her CVA.
After running LRS Consulting as a side business since 1994, Linda incorporated LRS Consulting in March 2015 and in January of 2016 officially opened LRS Consulting, Inc.
She currently lives in Chester, Nebraska, with her husband Eric and son Ethan. They have five children and four grandchildren. In addition to spending time with her grandchildren, flying is still one of Linda’s great life enjoyments.
Donna Barrett is an Assistant to the President of LRS Consulting, Inc.
Donna Barrett graduated from Jamestown High School, Jamestown and NCK Vo-Tech School in Beloit, Kansas. She was employed by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas for 23 years and retired from CloudCorp in January 2016 after 15 years. While at CloudCorp, Donna was the Administrative Assistant for Linda Sutton-Nutsch and the north central Kansas Small Business Development Center (Kansas SBDC) for over six years.
She is married to husband Roger and has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Donna enjoys reading in her spare time and spending time with her grandchildren.
Courtney Farnstrom is an Accountant with LRS Consulting Inc.
Courtney Farnstrom grew up on a farm near Byron, Nebraska. She is a Creighton University graduate with a B.S. in Business Administration, an emphasis in accounting and finance. After graduation she took a job with a public accounting firm in Omaha where she mostly worked with various audit clients. During her time there she passed the exams to become a Certified Public Accountant.
After marrying her high school sweetheart, Courtney moved to Kearney where she worked for another public accounting firm doing government and non-profit audits, all types of business and individual tax returns, financial statements, payroll, sales tax, and other general bookkeeping activities. There she completed her experience requirement to obtain her CPA license. Most recently she worked at KAAPA Ethanol in Minden, Nebraska as the Accountant and HR Director.
Courtney, her husband Austin, and three children, Cooper, Delaney and Elliot, moved back to Byron to be closer to both their families. Courtney is currently a licensed CPA and is taking on clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and sales or income tax needs.
Robin Masson Jacobs is a consultant with LRS Consulting Inc.
Robin Jacobs has over 20 years’ experience in the building products industry and has consulted with companies like U.S. Borax, Johns Manville, Illinois Tool Works (ITW) and Georgia-Pacific. Ms. Jacobs has developed numerous successful strategic business plans and excels in creating the structures and teams necessary to guide companies through profitable implementation and execution. She has managed multi-million dollar budgets and has led the marketing, business development and customer service efforts at US Plastic Lumber, FoundationWorks and Aluminair Corporation, developing and implementing successful programs for the retail, distributor and manufacturing sectors. Robin is currently the owner operator of Florida Marketech Inc.
Ms. Jacobs has served as Secretary of the National Association of Women in Construction in the Florida area and has chaired and been a featured speaker at industry conferences including Natural Fiber and Wood Composites Conferences and Category Management for Hardlines Conferences. She has also served on the board of a 501(c)3, Honduras Hope, supporting mission work in the rural and remote areas of Honduras and regularly leads mission teams to Central America. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate with a BS in Math, Computer Science, Marketing and Business from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Stan Compton is a consultant with LRS Consulting Inc.
Stan Compton was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. He is a graduate of Washburn University with a BA in Business Administration, emphasis in Accounting. Stan is a Veteran, with 6 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, 1973-1979.
Stan has extensive auditing experience. He was employed by the State of Kansas as an Auditor for approximately 15 years, then as an Alternative Investment Accountant at the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS). For the past 15 years Stan was employed by the Kansas Small Business Development Center (Kansas SBDC) in the capacity as Associate State Director.
Stan has been an owner operator of several small businesses and is currently a Partner of R&S Accounting and Tax Service LLP (R&S), specializing in Sales Tax Exemptions/Refunds for Utilities (electric, gas and water) consumed in the production of a taxable product or service and sales tax paid in error.
Scott E. Taddiken is a consultant with LRS Consulting Inc.
Scott E. Taddiken, J.D., M.B.A., grew up on a farm North of Clay Center, KS, graduated from Kansas State, and Washburn Law. Since 2003 has been working with farm and ranch families and others to develop family business entities, Wills, Trusts, and estate plans that protect assets, minimize taxes, promote family harmony, and provide peace of mind. Scott is a licensed attorney, with an office in Topeka, KS. He values a personal relationship with his clients, and enjoys being of assistance to their families.
Scott and his wife, Gina, along with their two daughters, enjoy living in Topeka and being active in their church and community.
Rick LeJuerrne is a consultant with LRS Consulting Inc.
Rick LeJuerrne is a graduate from Washburn University and the University of Kansas where he received his B.B.A. in Accounting and his J.D. in Law. Rick is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Washburn University and owns Flow Capital LLC, providing legal and business consulting services. Flow Capital provides legal services for entrepreneurs including: Organizing Limited Liability Companies (LLC), Incorporating, Partnership Agreements, Trademark Registration, Reviewing Lease Agreements, and, Buying and Selling a Business.
Rick lives in Tecumseh, KS and is married with three kids.
Saundra Reed is a consultant with LRS Consulting Inc.
Saundra Reed of Kaneali Ag, LLC offers record keeping, financial reporting, and payroll services to small businesses.
Over the past 25+ years of her career, Saundra has had experience in the areas of production agriculture, grain merchandising, feeder cattle and cow/calf operations, grain and cattle risk management, inventory control, bio-fuel manufacturing, and employee management. Performing financial reporting services that provide the customer, their lender and/or tax accountant with a detailed accounting of the owner’s business activity is the role that Saundra most often fills.
Though agri business is her strength, current customers include restaurant, retail, and insurance companies as well as those in the ag field.
Saundra and her family are engaged in the farming and ranching industry in Courtland, Kansas where three generations work together daily, with the fourth in training for the future.
Cindi Gill is a consultant with LRS Consulting Inc.
Cindi Gill is a consultant with more than 35 years’ experience as a business owner with experience in industries ranging from retail, service, health/spa, accounting, and restaurant/bar to education. She has been involved in tax preparation and bookkeeping for more than 35 years.
Serving as a Main Street Program President for 8 years, Cindi learned how to work with small businesses from an economic development perspective. Cindi spent time delivering marketing seminars as well as providing business consulting with an emphasis on marketing. Gill has prior experience with media via radio sales.
Cindi enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren in her spare time.
Jenny Russell is consultant with LRS Consulting Inc.
After graduating with a degree in Business-Communications and Marketing from Bethany College, Jenny Russell has worked with traditional marketing, advertising, and websites for over ten years. Of this, approximately five years was spent with Brush Art Corporation, a marketing and advertising agency in Downs, Kansas.
An emphasis in working with and structuring websites led Russell to internet marketing and the establishment of JenRus Freelance in 2008 in Courtland, Kansas. Russell’s traditional background serves as a solid foundation for her clients. Russell brings to her clients great customer service skills, a solid knowledge of advertising, social media, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing, marketing consulting, video production, graphic design, and other marketing skills. In 2016, The JenRus Freelance graphic design division, 314 Graphic Design, branched off with Crystal Cline as lead graphic designer. Cline was a previously a graphic designer for over ten years with Brush Art Corporation.
